Agent solution already tried

Thanks Doug Finner. Yes. Actually I had already created a solution of this manner where an agent cross checks all the documents and sends an email to the relevant person with a list of the documents that have a duplicate and are both parents. It tested successfully ... BUT .... will not run on the Live server due to timing out and the Notes server Administrator says they have done all they can to make it run. Hence I am trying something else. I am thinking Martha Geppert might have an alternative idea but my knowledge of Lotusscript is better than working with views and will have to research what she means
